Why we are here

Building a life in a new country takes courage. It can also bring loneliness, financial strain, workplace pressure, and emotional challenges that can quietly become overwhelming. Recently, we lost Devika, a young Indian working woman in Japan, who was facing a weight that became too difficult to carry.

With her family's consent, we are sharing Devika's name while keeping other personal details private. What we can share is our resolve: no one should have to face such a difficult time alone. This fund supports Devika's grieving family.

With the family's wishes, we remember Devika by name and respect the privacy of her personal details.
